Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles?
Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join the General Hospital fold in surprise new parts?
Here’s the latest casting news from the ABC soap.
The week of March 18, 2019
Finola Hughes, beloved as ISA agent Anna Devane, is about to start pulling doing double duty as her character’s twin sister Alexandra “Alex” Devane.
Hughes initially played Alex on All My Children from 1999 to 2001. She briefly portrayed the role on General Hospital back in 2017. Alex’s return will be part of the complicated twin memory mapping plot.
Chris Van Etten returns as military vet Chet Driscoll, Amy’s (Risa Dorken) brother and Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) old high school friend, this week. The character last appeared back in January, when Sonny (Maurice Benard) offered him a job at his boxing gym. There’s no word as to how he’ll fit into storyline.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
