The week of November 12, 2018
Look for a pair of special guests on the Monday, November 12 episode of GH, which celebrates Maurice Benard’s 25th anniversary as Sonny Corinthos. The actor’s real-life son, Joshua Benard, is slated to play a young Sonny in flashback scenes, as the lovable mobster looks back on his life.

Also appearing on the special episode is Dominic Zamprogna, as Benard’s TV son, Dante Falconieri. Zamprogna, who exited the soap in June, was eager to return for the tribute.

Patricia Bethune is gone after a grizzly demise as crotchety nurse Mary Pat: the character was murdered and beheaded. As for her run on the soap, Bethune thoroughly enjoyed it.

“It was nice to play someone like Mary Pat, especially with someone as strong as Laura (Wright, Carly). We had great fun before the scenes, so I knew she was safe and I could go really mean,” says the actress, describing the soap experience as “kind of like being in a gym and doing a heavy workout. It was very intense, very fast and all fun.”
