Big news on the recast front. With Michelle Stafford poised to leave her role as Nina Reeves, when her contract expires next month, the soap has already found her replacement.

Daytime vet Cynthia Watros, who won an Emmy for her role as Annie Dutton on Guiding Light back in 1998, has signed on to takeover the role. She’ll begin taping in June. Watros made her last daytime appearance on The Young and the Restless, where she played Kelly from 2013 to 2014.
Emme Rylan and her onscreen son, O’Neill Monahan, who play Lulu and Rocco, will be off the canvas for a few weeks. The characters flew off to Paris, last week. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
