General Hospital fans are used to heretofore unknown, illegitimate children popping up in Port Charles on a regular basis.
It’s how mega-popular characters like Laura, Robin, Sam, and Carly (Laura Wright), to name a few, first showed up on the canvas.
But, usually, those kids were the result of liaisons that actually, you know, happened (if off-camera). Sharing a child with a person you never previously met is a new one. Lulu and Dante (and fans) have no precedent regarding how to handle it.
Here’s how almost 4,000 of you think it will play out.
Good Charlotte
If Lulu (Emme Rylan) could have conceived a baby with a total stranger without ever being in the same room (or possibly the same continent) with him, then why couldn’t she have conceived Charlotte with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), a guy she actually married and was in proximity of?
Yes, yes, yes, the timeline makes absolutely no sense, based on Charlotte’s purported age but, if we ignore that detail, then isn’t it possible that like Ben/Rocco, who was gestated by someone else, Charlotte is yet another victim of Falconeri embryo-napping?

Interestingly, 54% of fans think Charlotte will still turn out to be Dante’s, in the end.
Valentin’s Day (In Court)
Even if Charlotte is actually a Spencer/Cassadine hybrid (hey, it worked for Nikolas), 42% of viewers are rooting for Lulu and Dante to form a united front and battle Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) for custody (which is more than Laura did for Nikolas).
Otherwise, Charlotte runs the risk of becoming as peculiar as her cousin Spencer.
Split Decision
For all of Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) many, many, many, many horrible qualities, his one saving grace is his acceptance of stepson Michael as his own (it’s nullified somewhat by the fact that Sonny had to hang Michael’s biological father on a meat-hook to do it, then ultimately kill him).
Shame Dante hasn’t inherited any of that open-mindedness. Still, 5% of you think he will never be able to embrace Charlotte, and that will lead to him and Lulu splitting for good.
