Ned Quartermaine is finally going to be reunited with his long-lost daughter, Brook Lynn, now that One Life to Live vet Amanda Setton has been tapped to bring the beloved character back to General Hospital — and her family.
According to TVLine, the character will make her triumphant return to Port Charles on the episode that will be airing on Monday, Nov. 18.
Brook Lynn is the daughter of Ned (formerly Ashton) Quartermaine with his spitfire ex-wife Lois Cerullo, the former best pal of none other than Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) from when they lived back in Brooklyn (get it?). The most memorable actress to play the role previously was Adrianne Leon, who left GH for the last time in 2011.
Brook Lynn was notable for many things including having kiseds Lucas (Ryan Carnes) back in the day when they were both teens. She kissed a few others in Port Charles like Dante, Diego, and Johnny. She flirted with Milo but she also dated (wait for it) Nikolas Cassadine.
Setton played former stripper Kimberly on One Life to Live from 2009 – 2011, who was known to cause a lot of trouble back in Llanview. Does this mean that Brook Lyn is going to be of the same ilk, looking to cause some trouble for those around her?
It could be fun — the younger set does need to a bit of shaking up from time to time, as do the Quartermaines. Stay tuned to find out if Ned welcomes back his daughter with open arms — and with whom from her past she reconnects. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
