General Hospital and The Young and the Restless Stars Unite For Peace

Several fan favorites from General Hospital and The Young and the Restless got together to show their support for the All Black Lives Matter movement at a peaceful protest in Los Angeles recently and it was a reunion for a couple of them.

General Hospital Meets The Young and the Restless

Actress Kirsten Storms, who plays Maxie on GH, got to see her former co-star and good pal Brytni Sarpy (ex-Valerie, now Elena on YR) when the latter invited her to join her and others — and Storms shared the incredible experience with her followers on Instagram.

“Such an awesome group of people. Yesterday’s (peaceful) protest was a BEAUTIFUL sight to see and be apart of. It felt like the entire city came together to support #AllBlackLivesMatter. Thank you @brytni for including me in this moment. Also involved were Sarpy’s boyfriend of a year and YR co-star, Bryton James (Devon), Loren Lott (ex-Ana, YR), Sean Dominic (Nate, YR) as well as Storms’ GH co-star, Chloe Lanier (Nelle) — along with her longtime boyfriend Kevan McClellan.

Lott also shared a video of the experience — complete with singing Whitney Houston’s I Want To Dance With Somebody, as she recorded those near here joining in.

“Protested with my #YoungAndTheRestless family💙💚✊🏾🙏🏾When I look back at this historical time, I will always remember that the world painted the most beautiful picture of Unity and screamed that my life mattered,” she wrote. “So much reform in just these 3 weeks of protesting. Keep fighting! God is with us!”

The All Black Lives Matter march was to show support for transgender members of the black community, a segment of the population that has also seen murder and violence.
