First, We Have…
Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth) told her mom at the age of 6 that she wanted to be an actress. She liked the toys kids played with in commercials and wanted to do what they did. She performed in over 60 commercials and guest-starred on many primetime shows. She also appeared in the TV movie Kaleidoscope with former Charlie’s Angeles star, Jaclyn Smith.
Next, We Have…
Genie Francis (Laura) started acting on General Hospital as a teenager after appearing on the primetime show Family. She literally grew up in front of our eyes playing the role. She did leave several times and enjoyed success in primetime. Some of her projects included the TV-movie, Bare Essence in 1982, which was then retooled into a TV series. She also starred in the mini-series, North and South (Books I and II), as well as appearances on other primetime shows. The actress also did stints on other soaps – All My Children and Days of our Lives.
Finally, We Have…
Kirsten Storms (Maxie) was born in Orlando, Florida and lived a regular life until she was 5 years old. After performing in an acting showcase for kids, she was discovered by a talent scout who thought she would do well in a children’s acting program in New York. From there, she booked an off-Broadway show and ended up commuting between New York and Florida for several years.
