Ingo Rademacher (Jax) was born in West Germany, in the small village of Iserlohn-Letmathe. He lived in Europe until his parents moved to New South Wales, Australia, in 1981. In 1984, his family began a vegetable farm in Queensland where Rademacher drove tractors and did other necessary jobs while attending high school. After graduation, he moved to Sydney and started doing modeling and taking acting classes. He got a job on the Australian soap opera Paradise Beach. Soon after, he moved to Los Angeles and joined General Hospital.
