Soap stories either crawl or fly by. However, sometimes we have to miss big developments. Never fear, Soap Hub is here to fill you in on what you missed last week on General Hospital.
Lovers and Friends
They spent months dancing around each other and their burgeoning feelings so it was high time that Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Peter (Wes Ramsey) finally go the whole hog and have a first date.
The young duo boarded a private plane and headed for the City of Lights but snowy weather prompted a detour to Toronto, Canada. After getting some very good relationship advice from an also stranded Laura and Curtis, Maxie and Peter threw caution to the wind and made love for the first time.
The Engagement Ring Game
Robert (Tristan Rogers) thought it would be very amusing to hold onto the ring Finn (Michael Easton) planned to use in his proposal to Anna (Finola Hughes) and he remained tickled at his actions until he left the ring unattended and it was swiped by Mike Corinthos (Max Gail)!
Mike used the ring to propose to his girlfriend Yvonne (their dementia so advanced that neither remember Yvonne is already married) and Robert had a replica created to give back to Finn – much to the good doctor’s annoyance.
All For Naught
Jason (Steve Burton) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) thought that they have the perfect plan to trap Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) once and for all. Sam would lure Shiloh away from the Dawn of Day house as her Nurses Ball date and Jason and Spinelli would cover the house with cameras to film the Trust ceremony.
But, since the pair refuse to tell anyone else their plan, they encountered a foil in the guise of Sam’s sister Molly (Haley Pullos), who plans to write a scathing expose on Shiloh and his cult.
I Love A Mystery
Sleuths Laura (Genie Francis) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) finally caught a break when their main suspect – April Trembly – phoned them and asked that they return to her home.
But, upon arrival, they found her dead body and were ambushed by a shadowy figure who knocked them unconscious and bound them together in the house which was rigged to fill with gas and explode. The two managed to free themselves and escape just before the cabin blew sky high.
Puttin’ on the Ritz
Back in Port Charles, the red carpet was rolled out and guests began to arrive for the annual Nurses Ball which Lucy Coe promised would be full of delicious surprises.
