Soap opera stories either crawl or fly by, meaning that sometimes we have to miss big developments. Never fear, Soap Hub is here to fill you in on what you missed last week on General Hospital.
By The Skin of His Teeth
The residents of Port Charles were finally beginning to breath a little easier, safe in the knowledge that Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) the shyster was finally going to be put behind bars.
However, just as Chase (Josh Swickard) was escorting the accused to lockup, Harmony (Inga Cadranel) arrived and “confessed” that she was the one who drugged Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) and Sam (Kelly Monaco), and that Shiloh had no knowledge her of actions.
And just like that, D.A. Dawson (Elizabeth Hendrickson), in her last official act, freed Shiloh and arrested Harmony in his stead. Now freed, Shiloh set about locating his son and managed to con two separate women in helping him with his mission.
A visit with a jailed Harmony resulted in her freeing up Dawn of Day’s cash reserves and Shiloh was able to hire a lawyer and have Willow served with a court summons to answer questions about their child.
“Hypothetically Speaking”
Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) was disturbed to hear from Valerie (Paulina Bugembe) that Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) had awakened in Pentonville claiming that he had not consented to the kidney donation.
She later confronted Curtis (Donnell L. Turner) with a “purely hypothetical” scenario in which he, Franco (Roger Howarth), Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), Valerie, and Finn (Michael Easton) conspired to keep a drugged Ryan stashed away while Kevin (also Jon Lindstrom) posed as his twin and signed the paperwork.
Although Jordan declared that she could never prove her theory, the audience was shown (via flashback) that her proposal was exactly what had happened.

At Pentonville, a livid Ryan came to the exact same conclusion as the Commissioner and vowed violent and bloody retribution against all those involved. His ravings were quelled by the appearance of Nelle (Chloe Lanier), whom Ryan remembered from Ferncliff.
Ryan told Nelle that he was sure that fate had brought them together — surely a meeting between two people whom society had wronged, and stolen a kidney from, wasn’t a mere coincidence. In fact, he believed that they would soon become very important to each other.
Crimson Woman
Knowing that Nina (Michelle Stafford) needed the September issue to boost the sales of Crimson magazine, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) pushed to have Ava Jerome (Maura West) be their cover story.
Nina took some serious convincing but Maxie prevailed and a talk between the editor and chief and her blond rival seemed to seal the deal. However, when it came time to sign the contracts, Ava delighted in toying with Nina and a fed up Jax (Ingo Rademacher) read her the riot act.
Later, Jax was able to smooth talk Ava into putting her John Hancock on the documents. While Ava believed the story would paint her in a positive light, Jax revealed to Carly (Laura Wright) he plans to use Ava’s own words against her.
Baby Blues
A second round of tests resulted in worry for Carly when she was told the results indicated that her baby could be born with a severe defect. She shared the news with Sam. who encouraged her to talk things over with Sonny.
