Soap opera stories either crawl or fly by, meaning that sometimes we have to miss big developments. Never fear, Soap Hub is here to fill you in on what you missed last week on General Hospital.
Goodbye and Hello
Despite all of Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) hoping and praying, when Franco (Roger Howarth) regained consciousness it was clear that the memory mapping procedure was a complete success.
No matter how much proof he was shown or how many times he was told the story about Dr. Cabot and the experiment, Franco refused to believe that he was not Chief Petty Officer Andrew Cain.
Awkward
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was “fired” by yet another psychiatrist when Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) refused to have a one on one session with her. Later, she learned that it was because Kevin was Neil’s (Joe Flanigan) doctor. During their hour together, Neil admitted to Kevin that he has feelings for Alexis.
A Ghostly Warning
Laura (Genie Francis) sets up a meeting with Chelsea (guest star Jen Ray) to try and determine if the woman is really a spiritual medium or merely a fraudulent trickster. Madame Mayor was impressed when Chelsea doesn’t fall into a trap by making contact with a made-up relation.
She was also downright shocked when a message from Amy Vining was delivered. However, her guard was immediately put back up when Chelsea told her that her son is in imminent danger and then requested $300 before divulging specifics.
Laura excused herself and called Lucky to check on him. When she determined that he was fine she put a halt to her psychic reading.
Chelsea was fine with …continue reading on the next page —>
Chelsea with was fine with Laura’s skepticism but she left her with this parting shot: the message wasn’t about her son in Africa. It’s her OTHER son whose in danger. Laura is left stunned. She only has one other son and Valentin murdered him. Didn’t he…?
Caught Red Handed
Deciding to take advantage of Nina and Valentin being at General Hospital at a recuperating Sasha’s bedside, Hayden (Rebecca Budig) chartered a boat to take her to Spoon Island.
She searched Valentin’s office and, after coming up empty-handed, she moves on to Helena’s trophy room. Liesl (Kathleen Gati) caught her mid snoop and tried Hayden desperately to cover but Dr. O isn’t buying what she’s selling.
The only thing that made Liesl consider not calling the authorities is Hayden’s proposal to set up a date between Liesl and Jax. (That should be fun.)
Violence
Franco managed to leave the hospital and after a less than cordial “reunion” with Kim (Tamara Braun). He then found himself at the Floating Rib and tried drowning his sorrows but wound up coming face to face with “his” twin Jason (Steve Burton). It turned out Drew knew he was a twin since high school and had done research on his birth parents. That was surprising.
The two argued and when Chase (Josh Swickard) tried to break up the altercation, Franco punched him in the face when the cop didn’t address him as Andrew.
Franco’s assault and battery on an officer of the law earned him an immediate arrest and he was taken down to the police station for booking. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
