Frightening Social Media Danger Hits Soap Child

While quite a few adult soap opera stars have had fake social media account pop up in recent years with scammers often asking for money, we now see our first page for a child actress, who is also the daughter of two soap stars.

A Facebook community was started under the heading of Harper Rose Barash, daughter of Brandon Barash (Stefan, Days of Our Lives) and Kirsten Storms (Maxie, General Hospital). The little girl also played Maxie’s daughter, Georgie, on GH for a time.

A concerned fan brought the page to the girl’s father’s attention and he was outraged, tweeting:

“This is f**king sick. Please help me get this shut down. What kind of demon would do this?”

The FB page used pics Barash himself had posted of Harper on her first day of pre-school two years ago and her last day of pre-school this week. The fan who found the page was concerned, tweeting:

“So I’m pretty sure this isn’t legit. It’s on Facebook.thought you should know. She’s way to flipping young to have weird not your controlled FB page with her whole name. I saw it in a group had her first& last day of school photo? I did not like it.”

While the page was started in February and looks like a fan page, it has other personal photos posted by her mother and father and seems very stalker-like, which would concern any parent and it’s understandable why Barash would want the page taken down.
