Kelly Thiebaud created the role of Britt Westbourne in 2012 and left General Hospital (GH) in 2015 to seek out other roles and challenges – and now she has exciting news.
The actress took to Twitter to announce that she’s booked her first lead in a film, but details are not available at the moment. What can be seen from the script that she shows in the video is that the project is called The Abduction of Angie, written by Meagan Hotz.
In another tweet, Thiebaud shows her excitement upon learning she’ll be working with Tamara Braun (ex-Ava, Days of Our Lives; ex-Carly, GH). She admits she’s a huge fan.
This comes on the heels of a tweet from March 22 that seemed like she was courting GH for a return appearance.
Someone tweeted to her that Britt was mentioned on GH. She responded by including executive producer Frank Valentini in a reply that said Britt needs to make an appearance.
It looks like that return will have to wait.
