The world as we know it has changed due to Covid-19, also known as the Novel Coronavirus, which is not a global pandemic. People’s entertainment habits are going to change as live concerts and shows are canceled and now former General Hospital star Jonathan Jackson has had to postpone his new set of concerts.
Our concerts in Nashville & Atlanta at #CityWinery will be rescheduled for later this year due to the coronavirus. We’ll have more to come soon and look forward to connecting with you all online until our live shows are rescheduled. Sending our love to everyone…” Jackson tweeted late yesterday.
The concerts were originally scheduled for April 8 and April 10, but this virus will be around for months and not weeks as we adjust to a new normal. Jackson has performed with his band Enation since 2004 and in 2014 the name of the band was officially changed to Jonathan Jackson and Enation. Other members include Richard Lee Jackson and Jonathan Thatcher.
However, you can still be entertained in your home with Jackson’s music and voice by going to JonathanJackson.com and downloading older and newer music from the band.
Jackson began playing Lucky Spencer on General Hospital in 1993 when he was just a child and made his last appearance in 2015 when Lucky returned to Port Charles to bring a not-so-dead Jake back to Elizabeth.
Many fans would still love him to return to the show as Luke and Laura’s oldest child together, but for now, even General Hospital is on hold for safety’s sake during this pandemic. But don’t worry, you won’t miss any new episodes at the moment as there are at least seven weeks’ worth ready to go. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
