We should have known it would happen. Jason has his memories back on “General Hospital,” he and Sam are together again…and…there goes the romance.
When Helena (Constance Towers) cursed Sam and those “who begat her” we now realize the worst of the curse certainly does fall on those who begat her. Julexis is now sick and twisted, while Jasam is now ho-hum, in love and on the run.
Sure, they could be happier. They could be home in Port Charles tucking Danny in at night rather than trying to find a not-so-dead Nikolas (Nick Stabile). But, they’re together–without romance, and without the heat we saw all winter and spring.

Today, Sam (Kelly Monaco) planned a flight back to Port Charles today and they’re going it alone–for now. However, that makes things even worse. For the moment, even together isn’t even together. They’ve been on their “adventure” for weeks with not even a love scene. Does adventure mean the love has to leave?
When Jason and Sam made love for the first time in years this past March, it was a rare soap spectacle of love and lust. Each moment was everything fans were clamoring for, but we haven’t been treated anything like it since.
While we know there’s plenty more to come for this couple this summer and are sure Sam will join Jason (Billy Miller) again, we do hope the writers pile on the heat. We’ve been GH promised us a sizzling summer after all. And, who better to set things on fire than the always-hot Jasam?
