Forget CarSon–What Did WE Ever Do To Deserve This Nelle Hell on General Hospital (GH)?

No matter which way you slice it, there just seems to be no fixing this convoluted mess that is the “Nelle Story” on General Hospital (GH).

This cockamamie plot started out with promise late last summer when we first met Nelle (Chloe Lanier), knew she had a secret, and couldn’t wait to find out what it was.

By the time she stripped down to her undies and got in bed with a drugged Sonny (Maurice Benard), we seriously couldn’t care less what her secret was. We just wanted this thing over. And that was Thanksgiving.

So, six months later, it gets more ridiculous than ever when Nelle finally confesses what she did on Thanksgiving just as Carly (Laura Wright) is sleeping with Jax. (It’s as if Ingo Rademacher was brought in just as a body to make this story more annoying–not fair.)

Of course, this is much LESS ridiculous than learning last week that Jax went to Carly’s long-lost adoptive father to locate a kidney for Josslyn, having no idea he’d use his own kid.

And THAT was less ridiculous than Nelle carrying a poker chip in her purse for who knows how long to remind her that precious Daddy was a compulsive gambler.

And THAT was even less ridiculous than Nelle KNOWING her dad was a compulsive gambler and NOT realizing he squandered what Jax paid him. SPARE US!!!

Seriously, GH, despite the stellar acting, it is really time to cut your losses with this story. None of it makes sense. Nobody likes Nelle. Our heads ache daily and one final note–YOU KILLED SABRINA FOR THIS?!?!?!?!
