Fast Track: Did Sasha and Michael Rush Into Their Relationship Too Fast?

Michael has been going through quite the dry spell on General Hospital. The women he loves keep dying. Or, he wishes they were dead. So, it’s no surprise that, when he had the chance to bed Sasha, Michael took it.

She’s pretty. She’s clever. She’s there. But, did it all happen too fast? What almost 8,000 had to say:

Where Did That Come From?
For 72% of you, the whole hook-up was weird and came out of nowhere. How many scenes did Sasha and Michael share before hitting the sheets? Were most of them off-screen?

They both have a lot going on. Sasha is lying to Nina (Michelle Stafford) about being her long-lost daughter — and about Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) setting it all up.

Michael is mourning Jonah, the baby Nelle (Chloe Lanier) told him had died before getting shipped off to the loony bin. He’s also obsessing about his godson, Wiley, the baby his uncle Lucas (Ryan Carnes) and his husband, Brad (Parry Shen) adopted. Yes, there’s a reason for that. The audience knows Wiley is really Jonah. Michael doesn’t.

Michael doesn’t even know he’s not in a good enough place right now to be jumping into bed with random women. Especially ones who, the way soaps work, might well turn out to be a relative!

Surprise Party
Then again, 27% of the audience thought the hook up was a fun surprise. Nice to see Michael stop moping for a change and do something fun. He deserves it. He also deserves romance.

Moping over Jonah isn’t a storyline. Finding out about him will be, but think of the extra weight it will carry if, at the same time, Michael is dating a woman who is also pulling a similar scam? That’s real daytime drama!
