Farewell, Nelle: Will Ava Redeem Herself Through Betrayal On General Hospital (GH)?

General Hospital’s (GH) Ava is not known for her good life choices. Sure, being born an illegitimate mafia princess wasn’t up to her, but pretty much everything else was.

She’s never been good at surrounding herself with the best people. The fact that she slept with Sonny (Maurice Benard) is proof of that.

Then there were her bad choices regarding Franco (Roger Howarth), Silas (Michael Easton), Paul (Richard Burgi) and Morgan (Bryan Craig). Griffin (Matt Cohen), in retrospect, wasn’t the best move Ava (Maura West) could have made, either.

But definitely among her dumbest blunders was throwing her lot in with Nelle (Chloe Lanier). Sure, they both had reason to hate Carly and want to get back at her. But the enemy of my enemy isn’t always necessarily my friend. Especially when she’s a dim-bulb, loose cannon like Nelle!

But will Nelle offer Ava the opportunity to redeem herself by revealing Nelle’s schemes? Here’s what over 3,000 fans expect to see happen:

Sing Like a Birdie
If Ava wants Sonny and Carly to owe her one – and bring Ava closer to getting Avery back for good – then she’d be wise to spill what she knows about Nelle and her attempts to gaslight Carly into thinking Morgan is back from the dead and/or Carly is crazy, advise a majority 81% of you.

On the Other Hand
Then again, 18% of the audience muses, there is absolutely nothing Ava can do to make Sonny and Carly admit – or even realize – that Avery deserves to see her mother.

So why bother trying to get on their good side? Sonny and Carly will just use any info that Ava brings them not just against Nelle, but against Ava, too. It’s not worth it. Ava might as well stay the course… but still cut nutty Nelle loose. That’s the best choice.
