General Hospital’s (GH) Elizabeth has had her share of good and bad relationships. There was Lucky, Jason, Nikolas, Ric… And now there’s Franco. Is he just the latest in a long line, or is he The One?
Good and/or bad, is Franco (Roger Howarth) the man Liz (Rebecca Herbst) deserves? Here’s how fans weighed in on the subject.
Lie, Cheat, Kill
Franco is a killer. But so was Jason (Steve Burton), and Liz fell for him. Not to mention Ric (Rick Hearst) and his criminal activities. So 41% of you don’t really mind Franco’s homicidal side. It’s the fact that he lies to Liz that makes the pairing unacceptable. Franco is a lying liar who lies, and Liz, in your opinion, deserves better.
Love, Honor, and Worship
Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) was Liz’s hero, her protector, and her first love. But he didn’t worship her. Not the way Franco does. Neither did Nikolas (Tyler Christopher).
For 29% of the audience, the fact that Franco puts Liz on a pedestal proves that she could never do any better, and so should stick with what she’s got. No matter how many Jasons end up returning to Port Charles.

Liz came to town as a bad girl. We knew that because she smoked. And considering that she has yet to give birth to a child whose paternity isn’t in question, it’s not like she’s a saint exactly. Liz has lied and manipulated and kept secrets with the best of them. In some ways, she’s no better than Franco, 28% of you argue.
As a result, the two definitely deserve each other. They should stick together, raise Liz’s kids — especially while Lucky is off evading the darkness, or whatever it was he said on this last go-around — and make it so all of Port Charles is left wondering what they ever did to deserve THEM!
