General Hospital fans knew it was coming. There had to be an explanation for how Nathan came back from the dead. Unfortunately, he didn’t. The imposter is Nathan’s evil twin, Cassius. How evil is he?
Key Takeaways
- Cassius may not be as bad as he appears.
- His feelings for Lulu, Rocco, and James seem genuine.
- He may make a turnaround for the people that he cares for.
- Fans are hoping for a quick redemption.
Cassius Doesn’t Give Evil Vibes
Maybe it’s because he has Nathan’s face, but Cassius (Ryan Paevey) doesn’t look like an evil villain. The signs were there that he wasn’t his brother; the most obvious was his lack of feelings for Maxie (Kirsten Storms), but he still seems like a good guy.
He may have been drawn to Lulu (Alexa Havins) on his own, or it may have been part of Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) plan, but either way, his feelings appear to be genuine. Then there is James (Gary James Fuller). Cassius cares for his nephew and treats him like a son. Only the worst of the worst would do that to a little boy.
He is Faison’s (Anders Hove) son, so there is some pretty bad DNA there, but then again, so was Nathan, and he was one of the good guys.
Cassius may have started off working for Sidwell, but spending time with the good people of Port Charles might change all that.
Quick Redemption Arc
Fans are hoping and predicting that Cassius will be redeemed quickly, and that Lulu, Rocco (Finn Carr), and James may be the key to that change.
Comments on social media are all for a fast redemption for Nathan’s twin.
One comment regarding Lulu said, “I think he was using her at first, but I think he will really start to like her and take Sidwell down.” Another agreed, “I think he truly likes her and she will be part of his redemption.”
One fan said that he would “not hurt James that way,” while another stated, “I think he will come to care for all of the people in Nathan’s life and will eventually turn on Sidwell.”
Do you think Nathan will make a turnaround?
