Is Duke Back? Ian Buchanan to Make General Hospital Return Appearance

May sweeps is about to get a whole lot more interesting on “General Hospital” one year after Duke died.

Talk about milking a story line for as long as possible. Anna (Finola Hughes) may finally see some relief from her grief as she’s on the brink of justice being served. However, she also has to come to final terms with the death of the love of her life.

It looks like Ian Buchanan will be back to make that happen. According to Soap Opera Digest, the popular actor will appear in several May episodes as an apparition. Will he return to Anna to help bring her peace at last?

Buchanan was thrilled to return to the set that made him a household soap name. He expressed his feelings to Digest, describing the scenes as “very sweet, very beautifully written and very poignant.”

While fans had hoped Duke was truly alive and not a ghost, we’re sure thrilled to see him back in PC any way we can get him.
