Dr. Griffin Needs A Life on General Hospital–STAT!!!

Dr./Father Griffin Munro has been in Port Charles through most of this year and has nary had a General Hospital story of his own.

Yes, we learned he is Duke’s son and that he was a priest who fell from grace, but where is his very own front-burner story that tells us exactly who he is now?

He is a layered character, but a directionless one and it’s high time Griffin gets a life. Soap Hub asked what you want for Griffin’s future on the front burner of soap life.

A Great Love
Out of nearly 5,000 votes, 47% of you want Griffin (Matt Cohen) to fall in love and have a child of his own. His heart has been broken twice by Claudette (Bree Williamson), and we saw how much of a good father he can be after watching him with Charlotte for just a week.

His overwhelming caring and affection will do any child a world of good and that is what you want for Griffin.

Doctor, Doctor
A smaller 40% of you love him on and at General Hospital, and you want to see him involved in more medical situations. He’s a great addition to the GH staff, but we don’t see him treat enough patients.

Instead, we see him shirtless in the locker room, which looks great, but doesn’t really develop him as a pivotal doc on a hospital soap.

Back To His Roots
The final 13% of you would like to see Griffin stay true to himself and return to the priesthood.

Soaps have not had a good priest since the days of Jim Vochek on Loving. Griffin clearly felt a calling if he chose to become a priest in the first place and developing that part of his character would leave you fascinated.
