When we first learned that Anna has at least one of her twin sister, Alex’s, memories we immediately assumed General Hospital would fix the mess it made last year when it decided Anna slept with Cesar Faison and gave birth to his son.
Now, it looks like GH might be toying with another piece of canon. We all know Anna would NEVER sleep with Faison and we all know that Robin is Anna’s daughter. The latter one is just the order of things and has been for nearly three decades of this soap’s history.
While Alex’s cryptic parting words mentioned Robert, we’re not sure why Anna just assumes the words have something to do with Robin. Anna’s has a long history with Robert, but Robin isn’t the only part of it.
And, if Anna was to wonder if one of her children might really belong to her sister, why didn’t her mind go to Peter.
After all, she knows Alex was impersonating her during that basic time period during her early days with the WSB. Alex slept with Valentin, posing as Anna. So, why wouldn’t Anna deduce that Alex might have slept with Faison while posing as her, as well?
Yes, Soap Hub was screaming at our screens this week when Anna decided to stress over the idea of Robin not being her child without even giving Peter a thought.
All we can say at this point is that the Robin idea better be a red herring and Peter turns out to be Alex’s son. One would hope and believe the powers that be realize changing that particular decades-long history could be the last straw for many frustrated fans.
