While Americans were celebrating the life of Martin Luther King, Jr. across the country on Monday, General Hospital star Donnell Turner (Curtis) got the chance of a lifetime.
Turner lived his own dream when he served as Grand Marshal of the City of Inglewood’s 34th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration, along with actress Saniyya Sidney, who currently appears in the feature films, Fences and Hidden Figures.
This year’s theme was “Building Bridges: Embracing Our Diversity” and, in addition to a parade, was set to feature local choirs and community groups – but they got a very special surprise.
Legendary singer Stevie Wonder took to the stage, and Turner happily tweeted out pictures of him meeting with the international icon.
