Does Shiloh Know Sam’s Been Onto Him On General Hospital?

On Friday’s episode of General Hospital, Jason threw Shiloh down a spiral staircase (ouch!) before he could have his way with a drugged out Sam. If he were smart, Shiloh would hightail it out of town, but he might not be that smart!

For a while now, Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) has known that Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jason (Steve Burton) are on to him and neither was going to stand for him mistreating any of their loved ones — especially Sam (Kelly Monaco)! But that didn’t stop Shiloh from trying to pull a fast one.

What’s Sam’s appeal to the Dawn of Day leader? The actor spoke to TV Insider to offer some insights into the Shiloh/Sam dynamic.

McLaughlin says Shiloh finds Sam appealing because he’s intrigued by her. “She’s Shiloh’s match and he thinks that’s why she’s attracted to him,” the actor says. “He wants her as a trophy. She’s beautiful, cunning and as Machiavellian as he is. He’s never had someone like that. He also wants to take her down and destroy her.”

McLaughlin says that Shiloh treats the whole situation like a game, albeit a very serious one. “It’s like a moving chessboard,” the actor says. “Opportunities are always presenting themselves. Even when it looks like he’s in trouble, there’s another move. He knows how to move within his world.

“He’s made it a long time. He’s very smart. He knows people. It’s interesting because he really does believe in the whole Dawn of Day ethos. He believes in everything that he’s saying. It’s one of his tools.”

As the previews at the end of Friday’s show revealed, Sam is set to give Shiloh a piece of her mind! Is she going to reveal that she’s onto him or is this another con? Are the Dawn of Day’s leader’s days numbered? Stay tuned to find out!
