When Shiloh’s cult first appeared on General Hospital, it’s purpose appeared vague at best.

Was Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) actually out to help people, or to fleece them? Is he here to get revenge on Sam (Kelly Monaco) for stealing his family fortune, silence Drew (Billy Miller) regarding secrets from their mutual past, or, could it be, that Sam is not the center of the universe, for once, and Shiloh truly doesn’t care about her at all.

When Shiloh began focusing on Sam’s sister, Kristina (Lexi Aimsworth), she seemed to find something truly useful in his teachings. But Jason (Steve Burton) resolved to put an end to it because…he’s Jason.

In addition, fans speculated that Shiloh was Willow’s (Kaylen McCullen) baby daddy, and she an escapee for Dawn of Day. Now that it’s been confirmed, are viewers more invested in this story? Here’s what almost 6,000 said:

Seriously, at this point, Shiloh could have Steve (John Bernadino), Audrey (Rachel Aems), and Jessie (Emily McLaughlin) hidden in his basement, looking the way they did when they were the three GH leads in the 1960s, and you still wouldn’t find anything to tune in for.

Why should you care about a newbie with no strong ties to the canvas, and his harem of other newbies?

Willow giving birth to the baby who Brad (Parry Shen) and Lucas (Ryan Adams) adopted, but then he died and was switched with Michael (Chad Duell) and Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) tot is not an A story, and it’s not a B story.
