So, Laura may be his wife, Lucy his ex-wife, and Felicia is terror victim, but it’s a safe bet that Carly will be the one to bring Ryan down on General Hospital.
We’re not saying that because Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) tend to hijack every storyline on the show but rather the breadcrumbs for this were left way back when Carly was sent to Ferncliff.
Remember, she heard the patient tapping out that morse code message and it’s haunted her ever since. So when Kevin (okay, really Ryan) began doing it while sitting alone at a table, Carly took notice.
Now Carly is having nightmares that involve Kevin (Jon Lindstrom). She knows something is going on but right now she doesn’t have enough information to put things together.
But that doesn’t mean that she won’t! Laura (Genie Francis) seems to be noticing something is off with her husband and Lucy (Lynn Herring) was also a bit tweaked by the way Doc has acted.
So, perhaps one of them, or even Felicia (Kristina Wagner) will end up either confiding in Carly or talking loudly near her — which may help her fill in the blanks.
Unfortunately, there is a good chance she won’t solve the Ryan riddle before he’s had a chance to add a few more female names to his growing list of victims.
But, even if Carly does figure it out — will she be able to bring him down on her own or will Sonny and even Jason (Steve Burton) have to swoop in to save her from her own snooping?
Considering this show is General Mobsters…um…General Hospital, it’s a pretty safe bet that is exactly what will happen.
The bigger question is — will Ryan go down by November sweeps — or will his reign of carnage stretch out to February or even May? Stay tuned to find out.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
