Any longtime General Hospital fan remembers the WSB in all its glory. Those were the days…what happened?

Robert & Anna & Sean…Oh My!

Back in the days of the Ice Princess, we first heard of the WSB when Agent Robert Scorpio (the late Tristan Rogers) came to Port Charles and met up with Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura (Genie Francis). The three secretly boarded the Cassadine yacht bound for a tropical island. It was there that they killed Mikkos Cassadine and saved the world from being frozen.

Later, Agent Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who was also a former DVX spy, arrived. She was Robert’s ex, and it turned out he was the father of her daughter, Robin (Kimberly McCullough). There was the Aztec treasure storyline, the Asian Quarter storyline, Grant Andrews/Putnam (Brian Patrick Clarke), and so much more. Sean (the late John Riley) ran the organization, and Frisco (Jack Wagner) joined it. The stories were exciting, and the cliffhangers left us wanting more.

Brennan & Josslyn & Vaughn…Oh No!

GH has put the WSB back front and center, but it is definitely missing something. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) became an agent after a few weeks of sparring with Vaughn (Bryce Durfee). After this “expedited” training period, Brennan (Chris McKenna) then threw her into a dangerous situation that she was obviously not ready for. Jason (Steve Burton) eventually saved the happy (fake) honeymooners, not the agency they were working for.

Now the Bureau Chief is trying to use Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) to get information from Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). One would think that the WSB would not go so low as to use a child and possibly put her in danger. The Bureau looks a little sad at the moment.

There is potential there. Joss could become a great agent if given the time. Another good recruit would be Anna’s granddaughter, Emma (Braedyn Bruner), because it might just run in the family. The return of both Valentin and Charlotte may also be the beginning of an interesting story. It’s time for GH to step it up! If the focus is going to be the WSB once again, we need more excitement.
