Will Nina Be The Hero In The Willow And Drew Story On General Hospital?

Nina has been a villain to the Corinthos clan for a long time on General Hospital. Things may be shifting gears, and she could be the voice of reason that everyone needs right now.

Nina (Cynthia Watros) is not an evil villain. She’s not a murderer and doesn’t plot against anyone. Well, maybe that one little incident when she cut Ava’s (Maura West) baby out of the womb and stole her. But hey, if Ava can forgive her, everyone else can.

Nina is selfish. She thinks of herself and not others. A perfect example is when she fell for Sonny (Maurice Benard) in Nixon Falls and didn’t tell his family he was alive. That made her Carly’s (Laura Wright) enemy for life. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (Chad Duell) also hated her for a long time, partly because of Sonny and partly because she took them to court for her rights to her grandson Wiley (Viron Weaver).

Nina has been looked at as the enemy for quite some time.

To Hero

Nina didn’t do herself any favors when she had Martin (Michael E. Knight) file for separation the minute everyone found out about Willow and Drew (Cameron Mathison). But since then, she has been more reasonable.

Drew is pulling Willow’s strings, and she allows it. He convinced her to use her proxy power to keep Michael’s parents away from him unless they let her take the kids. Nina did not think this was the right thing to do. When she calmly talked Sonny into returning Wiley and Amelia to their mom, Willow ran to hug her boyfriend and not her mother.

Nina is smart and sees what Drew is doing. She even called him out on it and told him off, which was fun to watch. She is fiercely protective of her daughter and is beginning to realize that Drew is ruining her life. She will now fight against him. Hopefully, she will do it in a way so that Willow doesn’t turn against her. This will require some tightrope walking and even possibly some help from Sonny and, dare we say, Carly.
