Key Takeaways

- Chase promised to focus his attention on Brook Lynn and adoption.
- Tracy and Brook Lynn had a similar conversation.
- Chase may want to be a good husband, but he can’t stop his vendetta against Michael.
The Quartermaines Have Had It With Chase
Chase (Josh Swickard) is not doing right by Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). He has gone against Michael (Rory Gibson) and the entire family in favor of Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). He is obsessed with helping his ex, which has gotten him demoted at work and is causing problems in his marriage.
Ned (Wally Kurth) finally spoke up and told his son-in-law the damage he is causing in the family, and more importantly, to Brook Lynn. It is time to stop his ridiculous crusade to save Willow and concentrate on his wife, who loves him. By the end of the conversation, Chase appeared to have finally seen the light.
At the same time, Brook Lynn was having a similar conversation with Tracy (Jane Elliot). She explained to her granny that Chase chose her and the baby they are hoping to adopt, and he will stop his nonsense with Willow and Michael.
Can Chase Control Himself?
Chase may have meant the promises that he made to his wife and his father-in-law, but he may not be able to keep them. He loves Brook Lynn and wants to build a life with her, but he has a compulsion to defend Willow. He may not have ever gotten over their break-up, and he blames Michael for it. What better punishment than to put him in prison?
Tracy doesn’t believe this is over, and she is usually right. The former detective will be very unhappy when he hears that the PCPD and the DA’s office decided not to pursue Michael as a suspect and are considering Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting a cold case. It may get him all riled up again.
Brook Lynn is the one who will suffer because of her husband’s obsession. What do you think? Will Chase let this go, or will he continue his crusade against Michael?
