There’s no point in playing who suffered the most from Ryan’s General Hospital reign of terror. He’s hurt countless people, from Ava to Esme to even Heather, in his own way.
Felicia Scorpio Endured Ryan’s Terror
However, it is undeniable that the person Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) has been terrorizing the longest is Felicia (Kristina Wagner). (We realize that maybe Kevin was his first victim, but they were separated for a lot of years. And Kevin brought some of it upon himself by hiding away his presumed dead brother, meaning Ryan was free to break loose and keep rampaging.) Which is why it would be poetic justice for Felicia to be the one to end him once and for all.
General Hospital Baby Steps
Ryan started off as Felcia’s daughter’s pediatrician. He ended up kidnapping baby Georgie and Felicia. His obsessions with Felicia only grew over the decades. You could almost feel his delight when he came for Ava (Maura West) and found Felicia as a double bonus.
The Usual Suspects
Sure, it would make sense for Heather (Alley Mills) to kill Ryan. Or Ava. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) seems like a logical choice. We’re unsure if this would drive her over the edge and turn her as crazy as her biological parents or be the next step on her road to redemption. But we realize it would be a meaningful moment.
First In, Last Out
Kevin ending his brother would carry karmic overtones, too. He’s the one responsible for Ryan’s latest turn to the dark side. We can understand Kevin feeling like it’s his responsibility to fix the situation.
After All
But we’re still rooting for Felicia to do it. It would be so satisfying for long-time fans. Plus, Felicia has Mac (John J. York) on her side. She wouldn’t suffer any consequences. If that was even a thing in Port Charles.
