General Hospital’s Top 3 Moms Of 2024

The moms of General Hospital have had quite a year. They have grappled with death, missing dads returning, children at war with each other, and so much more. Here are the top three moms of 2024.

Second Runner-Up

The second runner-up for the top mom spot is Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). The mom of Sam (Kelly Monaco), Kristina (Kate Mansi), and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) is not perfect but she has handled the stress of 2024 pretty well.

When Kristina became Molly’s surrogate, Alexis knew it was a bad idea but supported both daughters. She tried her hardest to be impartial when the girls began fighting and cried with both of them when the baby was lost. Does she sometimes give more attention to Kristina? Probably, but she loves Molly just as much and tries to support her as well.

The worst possible thing to happen to a mom is to lose a child. When Sam suddenly died, Alexis was devastated. Her reaction and her speech to Sam at her bedside was heart-wrenching. She loves those girls as fiercely as any mother could.

First Runner-Up

Although Sam has tragically passed away, she still gets first runner-up for 2024.

Sam and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) made the happiest home for all three of their children. Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), Scout (Cosette Abinante), and Rocco (Finn Carr) have all had a missing, imprisoned, or parent in a coma in recent history. The two adults in their lives created a loving family for them and it will never be the same now that Sam is gone.

Sam loved Rocco as much as her own children. She cared for him so much that she was willing to be a donor for his mom, which ended up costing her life.

And The Winner Is

The best mom of 2024 is Elizabeth. She has probably been the best mother in Port Charles for the last few years. Liz has three boys. Cameron’s (William Lipton) father died before he was born, Jake’s (Hudson West) dad has disappeared twice for years at a time, and Aiden’s (Colin Cassidy) dad has been away for most of his life.

Elizabeth has raised her boys on her own while working at GH as Head Nurse. She is doing a great job because all three are doing well and following their dreams.

Liz showed her great mom skills when both Jason (Steve Burton) and Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) returned to Port Charles. She did not try to keep the boys away from their fathers. She supported them in fostering relationships with their dads no matter what they had done. This takes strength, courage, and understanding. Elizabeth has all three which is why she is 2024’s top mom.
