Sidwell Forces Laura’s Hand on GH
Nothing is a coincidence when it comes to Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). He is the villain who came out of nowhere to prop the return of Jonathan Jackson in the role of Lucky Spencer, and he remains a permanent fixture in Port Charles.
After an encounter with Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) and Ace (Kieran/Karis Barry), there is an eerie sense of fragility surrounding Laura’s (Genie Francis) grandson.
Laura took a meeting with Ezra (Daniel Cosgrove) that revealed Sidwell’s wants. Helipads for his private helicopters are the first priority, and the mayor needs to make it happen.
When Charlotte returned home with Ace and revealed the veiled threat from “Mr. Sidwell,” it was time for Laura to take action.
No one messes with her family — no one.
Laura Makes a Big Decision
With a threat hanging over her head and the body of Dalton (Daniel Goddard) photographed in her trunk, Laura is literally between a rock and a hard place.
Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) received an offer to work in Ireland, and it came at the perfect time. Laura wants him to take the position and bring Ace along with him.
Not only would it ensure his safety, but it would also be one less worry for the mayor. The timing is also perfect for Kevin’s brief stint back in Port Charles to film.
This coincides with Kevin being off-screen again. Lindstrom returned to GH during a break in filming Beyond the Gates, and likely has already wrapped his run.
With another sweeps period just weeks away, there is plenty more to look forward to between Laura and Sidwell on GH. She isn’t ready to go down without a fight.
