Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) is the only one trying to save her marriage to Chase (Josh Swickard). He has one foot out the door with the other close behind. She is devastated, but is probably better off without him. Who wants a husband who is constantly flirting with his ex?
The couple is Phoebe’s adoptive parents, so they will need to make custody arrangements for their daughter if and when they split. Phoebe’s birth mom passed away, but we know her dad is lurking around somewhere. It may or may not be Hudson (Troy Lennon Appel), but either way, he has been hanging around BLQ and the baby.

So far, Hudson doesn’t appear to be a good guy. He fought with Ethan (Nathan Dean), and he is clearly trying to get to Phoebe. Then again, GH has been known to change a character’s personality. There may be a valid reason for his actions.
He has been finding ways to spend time with Brook Lynn because of Phoebe, but there may be a bit of a friendship forming between the two. BLQ could use a friend right now, so he could be the perfect person to confide in about the end of her marriage.
It would be nice if this story could be tied up in a neat little bow; Brook Lynn and Chase divorce, he ends up with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) while she and Phoebe’s biological father fall in love and raise the baby together. This scenario is obviously too easy, but Brook Lynn needs a break. It is time for her to be with someone who loves her unconditionally, and maybe Hudson can be that guy. If not, she may be headed for heartbreak all over again.
