We know the actual General Hospital prisoner is Ric. Alexis, Ava, and Kristina have him tied to a bed and gagged with a ball. (We know Ava happened to have a ball gag in her glove compartment, as one does, but why does Alexis have a hospital cot in her basement/gardening shed?) So Ric is in a lot of trouble. But we’re more interested in the three women who are currently working together. How soon will they fall apart?
The Man of the Hour
It is now clear that Ava (Maura West) has one go-to move: A man upsets her, she bops him on the head. She did it with Nicolas (Adam Huss). She thought she’d killed him, until it turned out he’d been kidnapped and nursed back to health.
That’s why she didn’t take the same risk with Rick (Rick Hearst). Ava wants Ric right where she can see him. Where Kristina (Kate Mansi) and eventually Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) could see him, too. But are they seeing eye to eye on what to do next?

Three Time Split
Right now, the women are working in tandem. They are going to keep Ric hostage for thirty days, and then….? Yeah, that part is unclear. We’re putting down even money that even before the 30 days are up, Alexis, Ava, and Kristina are going to start thinking about how they can save themselves… and throw the other two under a bus.
Looking Out For Number One
They think they are at a stand-off, because Ava knows about Kristina almost killing Ric and Elizabeth (Rebecca Hearbst), and about Alexis stealing money to cover it up, and Alexis and Kristina know that Ava clobbered Ric over the head. So no one can snitch on anybody without risking getting snitched on themselves.
BUT… If Ava were to go to the cops first and tell them about Kristina and Alexis covering up the car accident, AND that it was Alexis and Kristina who hit and tied up Ric, the mother and daughter duo will be the ones on the defensive. After all, how can they prove Ava was the one who actually did the deed? The only way to prevent that is for them to go to the cops, incriminate Ava, AND suggest she cut the brakes, as well. Ava and Alexis aren’t stupid. They have to be wondering how they can get out of this mess. And who they can pin it on. (Kristina, on the other hand, IS stupid, but she has Alexis looking out for her. Yet again.)
