Most General Hospital fans had enough of Peter the first time around. He is back again to torture Anna, who has been tortured enough. Will it ever end?
Key Takeaways
- Peter was awful the first time around.
- He may be dead, but he is suddenly alive in Anna’s mind.
- Peter has convinced Anna that Britt was the one who tortured her.
- Anna may try to hurt Britt.
Peter’s Influence On Anna
There was a time when Anna (Finola Hughes) believed that Peter (Wes Ramsey) was her son, and she would have done anything for him. It turned out that his parents were her twin, Alex (also Finola Hughes), and Faison (Anders Hove). Not the best gene pool.
Peter became as evil as his parents. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) killed him, and Anna watched him die.
Peter may be long gone, but he is still very much alive in Anna’s mind. She is allowing his presence to guide her and make her decisions. This stems from the psychological torture she endured at Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) hands.
Britt Is The Scapegoat
Anna now knows for sure that she was kidnapped and made to believe that Faison was still alive. She needs to blame someone for what happened to her. In her mind, it had to be one of his children. The only one alive to blame is Britt (Kelly Thiebaud).
Anna has been told multiple times by those she trusts that what happened was not Britt’s fault. Unfortunately, every time she gets close to believing the truth, “Peter” shows up and convinces her otherwise. The former WSB agent is desperate for answers, and the voice in her head is providing them.
“Peter” may take this a step further. He could convince Anna to seek revenge against Britt, which may put them both in danger. Where is Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) when you need him?
How far do you think this storyline will go, and are you ready to be rid of Peter for good?
