General Hospital‘s mystery woman appeared one day and died the next, leaving behind a newborn baby girl. Is there some significance to Delilah, and what was she doing in Port Charles?

- A pregnant, unconscious woman named Delilah suddenly appeared in Port Charles.
- She passed away after giving birth.
- Brook Lynn and Cahse will want to adopt the baby.
- Delilah may have been Lila Rae, Skye’s daughter.
- Delilah may have been involved with Dawn of Day.
- Nathan could be the baby’s dad.
Baby For Brook Lynn And Chase?
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) decide to move forward with the adoption process and just happen to stumble upon a passed-out pregnant woman. Well, isn’t that strange?
The woman, Delilah (Lily Cardone), gave birth to a healthy baby girl, but she sadly passed away. Now there is a baby at GH with no parents, and a couple who desperately want a child. It is pretty clear that BLQ and her husband will want to adopt the baby, and then they will have their happily-ever-after.
Not so fast. Things are never that simple in Port Charles, and there can be many complications.
Was Delilah A Quartermaine?
Delilah died before anyone found out what she was doing in town. One theory is that she is related to the Qs, and her real name is Lila Rae.
Skye (ex-Robin Christopher) is Alan’s (the late Stuart Damon) adopted daughter. She had a baby with Alcazar (ex-Ted King) and named her Lila Rae, after her grandmother Lila (the late Anna Lee). Jason (Steve Burton) eventually killed Alcazar, and Skye left town with her daughter. In 2010, it was revealed that Lila had been living in London.
Was Delilah really Lila Rae, who had come back to town? This would make her a Q, and it would be another reason for Brook Lynn and Chase to adopt her baby.
Dawn Of Day
There was a prominent tattoo on Delilah’s wrist, which viewers were meant to notice. This could be a sign that the Dawn of Day cult survived, even after its leader, Shiloh(ex-Coby Ryan McLaughlin), died.
A few Port Charles residents were caught up in the cult, including Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Kristina (Kate Mansi), and Sam (Kelly Monaco). The resurgence of Dawn of Day could give us some clue as to why Willow has become evil.
Nathan Is The Dad
Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) whereabouts for the last seven years remain a mystery, if he is Nathan at all. Delilah may have been involved with the detective and may have come to Port Charles to find him. After she died, he found her purse, which may have a clue as to who she was. Nathan may be the baby’s father.
Who do you think Delilah and her daughter are?
