Is The Mother Of All Secrets About To Come Out With Dex’s Latest GH Mission?

General Hospital fans have been waiting for nearly two years for Sonny to discover that his son Michael planted a mole in Sonny’s organization — and that mole has now become his right-hand man.

Sonny Doesn’t Take Kindly To Betrayal

Ever since Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) estranged wife Nina (Cynthia Watros) had Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) call the SEC and rat out Carly (Laura Wright) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) for insider trading, all we have heard is how Sonny feels about people who betray him. He is unforgiving. While that is not necessarily true (after all, he forgave Brenda Barrett for wearing a wire to catch him in his crimes), his initial anger can make him seem that way.

Fans have also known that Sonny’s son betrayed him in a much worse way than Nina did because Michael (Chad Duell) tried to put his own father behind bars as opposed to Nina trying to put Sonny’s ex-wife in jail. Not only that, but Carly also knows about Dex (Evan Hofer) being Michael’s mole and now sanctions it, so that is a double betrayal.

Granted, Dex is now working to protect Sonny rather than bring him down, but he is still going behind the mobster’s back and has been since the first time he walked into the boxing gym looking for a job.

Michael has now tasked Dex with another mission — find out who was trying to kill Sonny and Ava (Maura West) in Puerto Rico. Sonny is also determined to get to that information to protect himself and his loved ones, but he has told Brick (Stephen A. Smith) that he trusts Dex implicitly.

But If Sonny Is Wrong…

As Michael gave Dex his latest assignment and Sonny sang Dex’s to Brick, it became more apparent than ever that Brick doesn’t trust Dex at all. He has never made a secret of that and it looks like nothing has changed.

In fact, when Brick asked Sonny what he would do if he ever found out that Dex wasn’t as loyal as he claims to be, Sonny gave the answer we expected.
