Missing On General Hospital: What Happened To These Characters?

Every so often a beloved General Hospital character will just disappear. They are not dead or in a coma or missing. Where are they?

My Two Dads

Taggert (Real Andrews) raised Trina (Tabyana Ali), and they both believed he was her biological dad. The father and daughter adored each other. Then, one day, it was revealed that Portia (Brook Kerr) had an affair with Curtis (Donnell Turner) and did not know who Trina’s real father was. After a long, drawn-out DNA test it turned out that Trina was really Curtis’ child.

Trina and Taggert were devastated and swore their bond would never be broken, but he was not okay. He confessed his devastation to his friend Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and began drowning his sorrows in alcohol.

That was it. We never saw Taggert again. Trina has seemingly moved on. She now refers to Curtis as her dad, but there is no mention of the man who raised her.

There was a storyline brewing about Taggert’s drinking and Trina balancing a relationship with both men. But dad #1 has disappeared and the family acts like he never existed. Where is Taggert?

Legacy Lost

Scott (Kin Shriner) is a legendary GH character from a legacy family. He has been in and out of Port Charles many times throughout the years, but there was always a valid reason when he left.

Not this time. The attorney was on a good roll. He was working on Heather’s (Alley Mills) faulty artificial hip case and representing Ava (Maura West) in her custody case against Sonny (Maurice Benard). Scott had a wonderful relationship with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and her boys.

He just disappeared one day while helping the pharmacist Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) hired to change Sonny’s bipolar meds. He is nowhere to be seen, and nobody seems overly concerned. The only hint that he is alive is that he sent Rik (Rick Hearst) to take over Heather’s case. Where is Scott?

Missing Schnitzel

Scott’s lady love, Liesl (Kathleen Gati) is also off-canvas. This was one of the best couples Port Charles has ever seen. Poor Liesl lost her beloved daughter Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and could not forgive her boyfriend for defending Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), so the couple broke up.

Liesl then became part of the Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) donor storyline. The newfound aunt was a match for the dying mother, but the evil Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) kidnapped her. Drew (Cameron Mathison) rescued her, and she saved the day.

Liesl then fell off the face of the earth. Could she and Scott have reunited somewhere and are living happily ever after? We can only hope. Where is Liesl?
