The script has flipped yet again for Willow and Michael.

It’s been nearly two years since Michael and Willow’s marriage blew up on General Hospital thanks to her cheating with Drew. Willow believes she has all the power, and it has made her cocky. However, Michael just learned information that will take that away in a second.

Key Takeaways

  • Michael gave Willow an olive branch, and she took it the wrong way.
  • Kai and Trina are now Michael’s secret weapon.
  • Michael has a major choice to make now.

Same Old Drama and Same Old Willow

GH fans have been suffering through Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) not paying for her crimes for far too long. The more Willow gets away with, the more confident she becomes, and the more fans want her to be knocked out a few notches.

When she learned Jacinda (Paige Herschell) had drugged her, she wasted no time putting the screws to Michael (Rory Gibson), who literally saved her from doing something stupid in her drugged state.

Instead of fighting, Michael pleaded to Willow, as a mother, to stop the fighting for the sake of the kids. Michael also reminded her of the good times they had together.

Once again, Willow proved her hatred for Michael was more important than her children. Willow informed Nina (Cynthia Watros) that she had won and would now control when Michael saw Wiley (Viron Weaver) and Amelia (Sienna Goerisch).

Michael Has Allies He Never Knew About

Ever since Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) figured out that Willow shot Drew, they have been keeping it in their back pockets. The only other person they told was Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), who already knew.

After Gio (Giovanni Mazza) filled Trina and Kai in on what went down with Willow and Michael, they gave him the intel he so desperately needed. They told Michael that Willow shot Drew, and they have proof.

There’s no question that Kai and Trina are desperate to make Willow pay and would do anything to help Michael get the upper hand. However, instead of allowing them to go public with what they knew, Michael shocked them with news: he had a way to ensure everyone got what they wanted.

Has Michael’s End Game Changed?

Now that Michael has the power he never expected, he has a chance to figure out what he actually wants. Michael encouraged a truce with Willow when he knew she had the power.

The question is: will he still encourage that, or return to dark Michael and keep the feud going? Something seems to have shifted in Michael after he saw a glimpse of the old Willow in her altered state. It’s almost as if she tugged on his heartstrings without even realizing what she did.

Since Michael doesn’t want Kai and Trina to go public, it alludes to him wanting to protect Willow in a sense. Whether it’s for the sake of his kids or the love he had with Willow, Michael has opted to handle this in private.

Michael can change the narrative with Willow in a more positive way. However, Willow’s reaction could change his outlook.

If she insists on continuing the war, he will no doubt go dark. Michael always thought Willow shot Drew, but knowing that is a completely different thing, and it will change the way he deals with her.

The power is back in play for Willow and Michael. Who are you rooting for?
