General Hospital’s Maxie is back in the mix after months in a coma, and life looks a lot different than it did last summer. Maxie will be faced with a choice as she learns Nathan isn’t so dead, but we are here to say, there really isn’t a choice. Spinelli is the man for her, especially now that Lulu has caught Nathan’s eye.
Key Takeaways
- Maxie and Spinelli are endgame.
- Sparks are flying with Nathan and Lulu.
- GH fans weigh in on Maxie’s love life.
Here’s Why Maxie Should Choose Spinelli on GH
Listen, we are fully aware that this isn’t a popular opinion, but hear us out anyway. While Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) started out as a young love, when they got back together two years ago, everything changed.
Their relationship was a grown-up love, void of the drama they had caused each other in the past. Well, mostly the drama Maxie had caused Spinelli. That’s because they both had other loves: Spinelli with Ellie (Emily Wilson) and Maxie with Nathan (Ryan Paevey).
However, in the end, Maxie and Spinelli fought their way back to each other. The look on Maxie’s face seeing Spinelli there when she woke up from her coma was priceless.
Spinelli has never been shy about his love for his Maximista. She has always been the one for him. It took Maxie time, and a failed relationship with psycho Peter August (Wes Ramsey), but Maxie finally realized Spinelli is the man for her.
They have a genuine love that will no doubt be challenged by Nathan’s return. However, it shouldn’t be destroyed, and Spinelli shouldn’t be hurt because Nathan is back, especially in light of his burgeoning feelings for Lulu (Alexa Havins).
Lulu and Nathan Deserve Each Other
Sparks are flying with Nathan and Lulu, and GH should see where it goes with these two.
One reason is the drama it will cause between Maxie, Lulu, Nathan, and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). These four friends and former loves will be tested like never before. It will be pure soap entertainment.
Adding Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) into the mix will only heighten the soapy goodness of this storyline.
Another reason Nathan and Lulu deserve a shot at romance is that we don’t even know if he’s really Nathan. It’s a safe bet he’s not Nathan, which means Maxie shouldn’t blow up her relationship with Spinelli or break his heart for a fake.
Some GH fans are on our side in this debate. One fan on X wrote, “I might be the only one that wants Nathan and Lulu together because I’ve always been a Spixie fan.”
Another fan chimed in to say, “I may be in the minority and I’m sure I am…but I want Maxie to stay with Spinelli and Lulu and Nathan (or NotNathan) to have a real shot.”
