Jason And Sonny Had Mellowed
Sonny (Maurice Benard) is the crime boss of Port Charles, but he has somewhat slowed down in recent years. He has been more of a grandpa and less of a mobster lately.
Jason’s (Steve Burton) change is similar. Since Sam (Kelly Monaco) died, he has stepped up to be a dad to Danny (Asher Antonyzyn). He is even living at The Q’s, which would have been unheard of years ago.
The partners in crime haven’t been committing or fighting much crime these days. Their relationship was even in jeopardy when Jason first reappeared in Port Charles. The friendship is repaired, but they are most often seen sitting around and talking. It was even somewhat surprising that they didn’t take Drew (Cameron Mathison) out when he was torturing everyone around them.
Back At It
It has taken a while, but through Britt (Kelly Thiebaud, who recently shared a must-see throwback), Jason has figured out that Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) are the powerful enemies behind most of the evil in Port Charles.
Sonny and Jason are angry, and now they know where to direct it. It is time to take out the bad guys. When working together, this duo can do just about anything.
Sidwell and Cullum have gone too far and done too much damage to the people that Sonny and Jason love. They set the fire that burned Michael (Rory Gibson), shot at Sonny, tortured Anna (Finola Hughes), threatened Britt, framed Laura (Genie Francis), and much more.
It will be great to see our favorite mobsters back in action, fighting for the good people of Port Charles. The now-WSB Agent Josslyn (Eden McCoy) may lend a hand. It will be fun to watch this play out.
