General Hospital‘s Drew has been pretty busy lately destroying lives. His selfishness has wreaked havoc on more than half of Port Charles, and now he is doing it to his own daughter.
Full House
The Quartermaine mansion, aka Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) house, has become a home for many Port Charles children. Leo (Easton Rocket Sweda) lives there, and Wiley (Viron Weaver) and Amelia (Sequoia & Serenity Mork Macko) live in the gatehouse. Violet (Jophielle Love) lived there briefly while her dad was in rehab. Recently, (Danny Asher Antonyzyn), Scout (Cosette Abinante), and Rocco (Finn Carr) took up residence there.
The three newest young houseguests are grieving their mom/stepmom so the dads agreed it would be best for them to stay together at the Qs. They have grown up as siblings and wanted to stay that way. But now Drew (Cameron Mathison) has taken Scout from her family and the young girl lives in a hotel. It appears she is often alone because her dad is always helping his girlfriend with the issues he helped create with her kids.
Grandma To The Rescue
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) mom and Scout’s grandma. She is rightfully worried about her granddaughter. Drew moved her out of the Quartermaine’s, claiming they kicked her out. In reality, Tracy (Jane Elliot) would never throw a child out of her home, especially Monica’s granddaughter. They threw the dad out, and he took his daughter with him. If he had a heart, he would have left her with her brothers and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), who raised her for part of her life. This is what Sam would have wanted.
Alexis offered Drew an alternate solution because she didn’t want Scout alone in a hotel room. She offered to have her granddaughter move into her house. Scout would have her grandmother and Aunt Molly (Kristen Vaganos) living with her, plus visits from Aunt Kristina (Kate Mansi). They would dote on Sam’s daughter.
Drew turned her down. He wants his daughter with him, but is she really with him? He is running around doing everything manipulative and nasty so that Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) can have her children. He doesn’t seem to think about what is best for his daughter at all and is only looking out for himself.
There have been plenty of bad dads on GH, but Drew is the worst right now. Do you agree? Let us know in the comments.
