Is GH Setting The Stage For Robert’s Impending Demise?
Beloved GH legend Tristan Rogers (Robert) died last August after a battle with cancer. Rogers’ death came nearly a month after his final appearance as Robert on the ABC soap.
While Robert remains off with Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Holly (Emma Samms), Executive Director for ABC Television, Nathan Varni, confirmed via social media in early January that a proper send-off for Robert and Rogers is in the works.
Now, fans are certain they know how it will all end for Robert, and it has everything to do with Anna (Finola Hughes). The other day, Mac (John J. York) told Emma (Braedyn Bruner) not to clue Robert in on what was happening with Anna or her theory that Faison (Anders Hove) is alive because he would go ballistic.
Robert would do anything and drop everything for Anna, especially if he feels Faison is in the mix, and Mac knows that. Mac’s words sparked a fan theory that this is the beginning of the end for our beloved Robert Scorpio.

We have to say it’s a pretty good theory and would be fitting for Robert to go out in a blaze of glory to help Anna. The nod to their history, as well as his time at the WSB and entanglement with Faison, would give fans so much nostalgia.
No one wants to say goodbye to Robert or Rogers, but it’s coming whether we like it or not. Having Robert’s demise linked to saving Anna, in our opinion, is much better than simply having him die off-screen, like with Monica (Leslie Charleson).
