With Michael out of the country recovering from his burns and Wiley’s guardianship up for grabs, now may be the perfect time for Nelle to resurface on General Hospital.
Where’s Nelle Been?
After wreaking havoc on Port Charles – mainly her “sister” Carly (Laura Wright) and her family – Nelle (ex-Chloe Lanier) was left hanging on a cliff with only her number one enemy, Carly, there to save her. Despite Carly’s attempt to help, Nelle fell to her death… or did she? No one does in Port Charles, and if Nelle is still alive, now’s the perfect time to show up.
Twin Trouble
Nelle’s return would mean trouble for several people in Port Charles, but the biggest person affected would be none other than her fraternal twin sister, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). After an ugly fight with The Quartermaines to get her children back, Wiley’s (Viron Weaver) birth mother is Nelle, and that would trump the adoptive mother no matter what Martin (Michael E. Knight) says.
If Nelle came seeking custody of her son, this would leave Nina (Cynthia Watros) torn between her two daughters: the one she never got to know and the one with whom she has just started building a relationship. With Drew (Cameron Mathison) obsessively supporting Willow, Nina could easily side with Nelle, starting (another) all-out sister war.

Then there’s how Nelle’s presence in PC would annoy everyone, from her kidney donee Josslyn (Eden McCoy) to ex-boyfriend Chase (Josh Swickard) to former partner in crime Brad (Parry Shen). Nelle being back to parent Wiley would certainly upset Lucas (Van Hansis), but the best part would be Carly’s face when she returns from Germany to see her arch-nemesis back in town.
And if all that wasn’t reason enough, there’s the fact that Nelle’s portrayer, Lanier, is the real-life second half to Cody’s Josh Kelly.
