Both Willow and Drew used to be fan favorites for both General Hospital fans and the people of Port Charles. But ever since their affair, these two have become unbearable. Here’s the only way GH can redeem these characters.
The Tower Crumbles
Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), once the innocent girl next door. Drew (Cameron Mathison), once the praised Navy Seal and respectable businessman who loved The Quartermaines. But together, these two have only brought the worse out in each other.
Since their very first kiss on the Fourth of July, things escalated rather quickly when Willow suddenly fell in love with Drew, while he turned conniving as he set out to get anything and everything he wanted, from becoming a congressman to stealing his nephew’s wife.

But what if their actions aren’t there own? This is where those pesky tarot cards come in. Drew was already once brainwashed by The Tower, at the hands of Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). Is it a stretch to assume Drew has once again been brainwashed by someone who wants to harm the people of Port Charles, or simply take over the city?

This theory could go even farther if we look at Willow. She was once too sweet for her own good, but like the flip of a switch, she’s now scheming, greedy, heartless against Michael (Chad Duell), and most notably, willing to do anything Drew says. Is it fair to wonder if Willow has been either brainwashed along with Drew, or worse, brainwashed by Drew?
Brainwashing may be the only way to redeem these two characters going forward, because as of right now, they’re two of Port Charles most hated. Do you think brainwashing is a viable theory? Let us know in the comments.
