It looks as though General Hospital is setting up for a “Drew Whodunnit?” but Cameron Mathison doesn’t seem to be leaving the soap. What will they do?
Who Wants To Kill Drew?
Practically every character on GH wants to kill Drew (Cameron Mathison). He has really become a menace to just about everyone in Port Charles. He is an awful villain, and many people would like to see him dead. As he continues to hurt and destroy lives, it becomes more and more apparent that someone will try to kill him. Soaps love a great whodunnit storyline, and this one would be a big mystery because there are so many suspects! Fans won’t be shocked to see someone take a shot at him in the near future.
Mathison does not appear to be leaving the show, but Drew cannot continue like this without something happening.
A New And Improved Drew
Let’s not forget that Drew was once a very good guy until his personality shifted with no real explanation. He has gotten so bad that he cannot make a sudden turnaround. He is not redeemable…unless something happens.
One of his many enemies will probably try to kill him sooner or later. Who could blame them? This doesn’t mean he would necessarily die. Drew can end up with a very soapy case of amnesia. He can wake up with no memories after his beating in Pentonville.
If that were to happen, he would still be in love with Carly (Laura Wright) and have no feelings for Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) other than as an uncle. He thinks his best friend is still Curtis (Donnell Turner), and his nephew and close business partner would be Michael (Rory Gibson). He wouldn’t even know that Sam (ex-Kelly Monaco) died, but once he heard, he would insist that Scout (Cosette Abinante) stay close to her brothers.
All would be right with the world, except that everyone else would remember all the terrible things he had done. Then what? Do you think Drew will get a case of amnesia? Let us know in the comments section.
