General Hospital‘s Gio originally believed that Sonny ordered the hit that left Sidwell and Curtis badly beaten. Now he is having second thoughts, which is bound to cause problems between him and Josslyn.

Key Takeaways

  • Sonny may look like the guilty party, but he is innocent.
  • Gio is beginning to believe his grandfather.
  • Josslyn wants to ruin Sonny.
  • Joss and Gio’s friendship may be an unexpected casualty.

Gio’s Turnaround

Sonny (Maurice Benard) is not the guilty party, but unfortunately, the evidence points to him. He has a very bad track record, so most of Port Charles believes he is the culprit. The accusations from Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) are to be expected, but things are bad when his own family doesn’t believe him.

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) pretty much disowned his dad, and even Gio (Giovanni Mazza) thought his grandfather was lying. He is moving out of Sonny’s house and in with Emma (Braedyn Bruner).

Now, something is not sitting right with Gio, and he is beginning to change his stance. He knows Sonny wouldn’t lie to him, and his instincts tell him that something doesn’t add up. Just as he came to this realization, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) stepped in.

Josslyn’s Vendetta

Joss hates Sonny, although the reason is a little foggy. He loved her and helped raise her when he was married to Carly (Laura Wright). That being said, Josslyn has made it her mission to take him down. She has gone so far as to sneak in and buy Sonny’s piers right under his nose.

Things got a bit heated when Gio and Emma overheard Joss badmouthing Sonny. Gio was upset but removed himself from the situation. He and Josslyn are friends, and he was not looking to fight with her. Emma, on the other hand, had no problem confronting her childhood rival.

It appears that Gio is coming around to his grandfather’s side, but he will be in the minority. Joss only sees the worst in Sonny and will not back down, especially because of Trina. She is starting a war, and it will not end well for anyone. Her friendship with Gio could be one of the first casualties.

Do you believe Josslyn will let her vendetta against Sonny ruin her relationship with Gio?
