General Hospital fans often have mixed feelings about Elizabeth. Some love her, while others hate her. Right now, Liz’s current storyline is causing more hate than like.
Elizabeth Is No Villain
Drew (Cameron Mathison) is a villain, as were Cyrus (Jeff Kober), Cesar (Anders Hove), Victor (Charles Shaughnessy), and many others. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) is nothing like those characters. She is sweet, mostly kind, hard-working, and a good mom. Everyone should love her, but they don’t.
There is something about her personality that irks some people all the time. With others, it ebbs and flows. Then, some are Liz fans most of the time. Currently, not many people are fond of her.
So What’s the Deal With Liz?
Fans say that Elizabeth can be irritating. She is sometimes a self-righteous know-it-all, and she thinks she is better than everyone. One story that turned viewers off was her relationship with Finn (Michael Easton). He stood by her when she was going through a hard time. She had a mental breakdown, and he did whatever he could to help her, although she wasn’t all that nice to him. When the tables turned and he began drinking again, she turned her back on him.
When Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) arrived back in Port Charles, fans cheered for a reunion. We loved them as a couple and hoped for a happily ever after that never came.
Liz is single once more, and her children are all away. She seems to be taking this time to stick her nose in everyone’s business, especially Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew’s. The head nurse has become Willow’s champion, whether she deserves it or not, to get her kids back. Now, she is acting high and mighty after hearing Carly (Laura Wright) threaten Drew, and is willing to tell the police, although she knows that Carly didn’t shoot him.
It is time to give Liz a better storyline, maybe a romance with Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson), who has become the other hospital busybody. She can be great if given the chance. What do you think of Elizabeth? Let us know in the comments section.
