Emails From Afar: GH’s Robin Scorpio Has Some Ideas For Anna

Anna didn’t even let death keep her from her beloved daughter, Robin Scorpio Drake, for long. She’s certainly not going to let a little thing like Robin living on the other side of the country or Anna currently having no home keep them from communicating. We know they talk regularly. And here may be what one of Robin’s most recent emails to her mom might say.

Dear Mom — Please tell me you’re taking this stalking seriously. I know you’re Anna Devane: Super Spy. But I’m just Robin Scorpio Drake, Super Worried Daughter. I’ve been thinking, and there are lots of possibilities about who could be after you. There’s Aunt Alex, to start with. She’s always had serious issues with you, and trashing hotel rooms, not to mention burning down houses and hiring hitmen, is right up her alley.

But then I keep thinking, maybe it goes back further than that. I don’t mean as far back as Faison. He, at least, is as dead as we can ever hope for anyone in Port Charles to be. This isn’t about WSB or DVX business. It’s closer to home. I can’t help thinking about two people it might be. First, there’s Grant Putnam. No, mom, don’t start worrying. I’m not still traumatized from the time he sent me into catatonia. You got me right into therapy, and it worked, believe me. But he did kidnap and try to kill you. Yes, he’s also considered dead. But, you know….

What Dreams May Come

My second theory is even weirder. Mom, remember when I was a kid, and I had that imaginary friend? The one I called Casey the Alien? Sure, you played along and acted like you believed me. But I know you were just being a good mom. The older I get, the more I keep telling myself it was just my overactive imagination at play. But, then again, it did feel so real. Mom, did we really meet an alien? And, if we did, could they be connected to all the strangeness happening now?
